I am Sina and I run persischekunst.de with the help of friends and family :).
For me, Persian art is more than decoration – it tells stories of culture, patience, handwork and a centuries-old tradition. I am particularly fascinated by art forms such as Persian miniature painting, calligraphy, Tazhib and Gol-o-Morgh motifs, as well as traditional crafts like Khatamkari, Moarraq, Monabbat, Ghalamzani and fine wooden marquetry. Every piece carries something of Persian identity within it.
Persische Kunst grew out of that appreciation. I wanted to combine my experience as a website builder, backend programmer and Shopware developer with my enthusiasm for Persian craftsmanship. Because I learned to build the website and the shop myself, to work with Shopware and JTL merchandise management, to photograph products, to write copy – with plenty of help, of course – and to run advertising on Google, Amazon and social media, I was able to build this project up step by step.
Alongside my day job in IT, I started persischekunst.de as a personal passion project, to present the traditional art and craft of my homeland in an authentic way. The handcrafted products you find here I order directly from the producers, organise the shipping, handle the customs clearance myself and offer not only online but also in retail and to local shops in Germany and Europe.
