Minakari is a traditional Persian art form in which fine floral patterns are painted by hand onto metal – usually brass – and then kiln-fired, so that the colours glow permanently. This Minakari set consists of two small vases, one large vase, a praline box and a decorative plate. All pieces are kept in the characteristic main colour blue and decorated with delicate, richly detailed floral motifs that reflect the elegance and craftsmanship of this centuries-old technique.
